The situation around the COVID-19 virus has now moved into a pandemic state as
\ndeclared by the World Health Organization. With that in mind, we want to update you
\non the steps we are taking to keep our employees and customers safe.<\/p>\n

Like most companies we are monitoring the situation daily and updating our Policies as
\nnew Travel Advice and Health Advisories becomes available.<\/p>\n

New QPS travel restrictions have been put in place for all of our travelling staff. As a
\nresult, we had already discontinued all international travel a while ago and we are now
\nalso discontinuing cross border travel to\/from the USA and Canada due to the closure of
\nthe Canada\/USA border to all but essential travel. In addition, to keep our staff and
\ncustomers safe, we have also taken added precautions to restrict visits to our premises
\nby not allowing visitors that have travelled outside of the country in the last 14 days.<\/p>\n

Knowing that life must go on and our customers still need to do business, we want you
\nto know that we will continue to provide the services you need. Our test laboratories will
\ncontinue to operate, and our field evaluation\/certification inspectors will still perform
\ninspections subject to your Health & Safety Procedures related to COVID-19. In some
\ncases, the inspection can be done remotely by sending your equipment to our QPS Test
\nLab for inspection.<\/p>\n

Factory Inspectors will also continue to perform required inspections subject to the
\ntravel restrictions of the country where the factory is located and also in accordance with
\nour travel policies and our customers\u2019 Health & Safety procedures surrounding COVID-
\n19. Inspections which are required to be postponed will not affect the Certification status
\nof our customers.<\/p>\n

In an effort to adhere to social distancing, we are arranging for some of our office staff
\nto work from home during this time, however customers will not see any disruption in
\nservices. Overall, our staff are committed to providing you with the best service
\npossible.<\/p>\n

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your business. We hope that
\nyou, your company and your family stay safe and well during this unprecedented time.<\/p>\n
